Estonian dictionary data
Parts of Dictio's Estonian word content come from the Institute of the Estonian Language (Eesti Keele Instituut, EKI) and are licensed under CC BY 4.0:
- EKI Combined Dictionary (EKI ühendsõnastik), © Eesti Keele Instituut, published in Sõnaveeb and the Ekilex dictionary system: Estonian definitions, example sentences, word forms, synonyms, and Russian, Ukrainian and English equivalents.
- Estonian A1, A2 and B1 vocabulary lists (Eesti keele A1-, A2- ja B1-taseme sõnavara) by Jelena Kallas and Kristina Koppel, © Eesti Keele Instituut 2018, from EKI's download page: which words Dictio teaches, and their CEFR levels.
Dictio has changed this material: we selected and shortened entries, edited definitions and examples, and added our own translations, notes, audio and images. EKI does not endorse Dictio. The EKI material stays under CC BY 4.0, and our Terms of Use do not restrict it.
